Good basic broadband

I just signed up for Unlimited Broadband a few weeks ago. The setup was pretty easy, just plugged in the router they sent, the Plusnet Hub One, and it worked. Speeds seem decent for what I need, mostly just browsing and streaming. No real complaints, it's doing the job fine.

Consistently reliable

I've been with Plusnet for years now, mostly for their Fibre broadband, and this latest renewal was as smooth as ever. I've always found their service to be very reliable, and it's why I keep coming back. My previous provider, TalkTalk, had more issues. This time I opted for the Anytime Calls package, and it was easy to add on. The speeds are always consistent for me, which is key.

Love my new mobile plan!

I just got a Plusnet Mobile SIM Only Plan and I love it! The data allowance is super generous, and the signal is great everywhere I go. Signing up was so straightforward, and I got my SIM card really fast. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new mobile provider!

Decent service, minor hiccup

I got the Broadband and Phone bundle, and it was a pretty good deal overall. The internet speed has been consistent, and I haven't had any dropouts. Delivery of the Plusnet Hub Two was quick. My only slight issue was that the initial activation took a day longer than the estimated time they gave me, which was a bit annoying as I needed it for work. Customer service was helpful when I called to check, though.

Ordered Fibre, got Hub Two

I ordered the Fibre broadband service about a month ago. The online application process was straightforward, and I received email updates about my order. The Plusnet Hub Two router arrived in three business days via Royal Mail. Installation was mostly self-service; I just plugged in the router and followed the instructions to connect to the network. My activation date was confirmed for the following week, and the service started without any issues on that day. The advertised speeds have been consistent, which is great for streaming and online gaming. I called customer support once about setting up a static IP address, and the wait time was about 10 minutes, but the representative was knowledgeable and helped me resolve it quickly.

Thinking of switching to Plusnet. How long does it usually take to get everything set up and working?

G Greg L. 2 months ago
Mine was pretty quick actually. I think it took about 2 weeks from signing up to having internet.

Depends if you're switching from another provider or getting a new line. I kept my old number and it was about 10-14 days. They'll tell you the exact date when you order.

Anyone know if Plusnet does any decent deals for students? Or should I just wait for Black Friday?

J James 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually have student discounts. I got one last year, just gotta check their site or studentbeans I think.

They do! My flatmate got a student deal a few months ago. Black Friday might have something different but a student one should be available now.
